Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Rear-Ended Biker Gets Jolted Into the Air, Lands on Feet, & Captures it All on Helmet Cam

(By Jonathon M. Seidl, The Blaze) - Ever wondered what it’s like being on a motorcycle and getting rear-ended? Well, this might be as close as you can get without being involved in a real accident.

A helmet video posted on YouTube shows a motorcycle rider come to a smooth stop at a traffic light. Seconds later, tires squeal, and metal crunches, as a woman rams the rider from behind. Amazingly, the man is jolted into the air and lands on his feet:
