Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

I'll never understand why people consent to being "interviewed" on Hardball. Time after time, show after show, guests who really have something to say - guests like David Corn, Howard Fineman and Ron Reagan as well as other progressive thinkers are forced to sit there like store mannequins while Matthews continues to rant at the top of his lungs. On those rare occasions when they are finally allowed to get a word in edgewise, Matthews interrupts, or talks over or cuts them off before they can make their point.

He is the rudest, most overbearing and hard-to-take show host of any on the air today and I do not for the life of me, understand why these people continue to appear on his show just so they can be cannon fodder for his unbelievably rude and bullying behavior.
