NJ Gov Chris Christie (R) labels husband from 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' a liar and boots him from government position

Gov. Christie Suspends Husband of 'Real Housewife' from Water Commission: MyFoxNY.com

(UK Mail Online) - Governor Chris Christie has attacked the husband of one of the stars of 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' for lying to get a government position.

Christie has now suspended Albert Manzo, the husband of Caroline Manzo, from the North Jersey District Water Supply Commission, saying he and another commissioner abused the public's trust.

Mr Manzo listed his office as his home address, despite regularly appearing on television living not at his office, but in a mansion with his family.

He reportedly did so to avoid having a state senator in Bergen County, where the mansion is located, block his nomination.

The governor criticized Manzo for not revealing that he lived in Bergen Country's Franklin Lakes instead of Paterson.
