The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Return Fire: Billy Packer Says He’s Forgotten More About College Sports Than Charles Barkley “Ever Knew Existed”

(By Dan Fogarty, SportsGrid) - During an interview with SportsRadio 610 in Houston this morning, former CBS sportscaster Billy Packer shot back at Charles Barkley after Barkley called him a “jacka**” during halftime of last night’s Mavs/Knicks game.

“I’ve probably forgotten more about college basketball and intercollegiate athletes than Charles Barkley ever knew existed,” said Packer.
