The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Wisconsin GOP Senator Mobbed at Capitol by Leftist Protesters



(Breitbart.tv) - Wisconsin Republican Glenn Grothman is mobbed by a group of left-wing union protesters as he is trying to enter the Wisconsin Capitol. He is eventually saved by a Democrat State Representative.

It appears that things in Wisconsin are reaching a breaking point and the protests are getting way out of hand. It's time for civilized order to return to the Badger State.
