Pro Wrestling Legend Ric Flair Still Stylin’ and Profilin’ In North Carolina Lottery Commercial

(By Mohammed Rahman, SportsGrid) - Ric Flair, the greatest technical wrestler of all time in the eyes of many, stars as the dean/professor of Wooooo! University in a commercial for the North Carolina state lottery. Does that make sense?

Hopefully, this will help: North Carolina instituted a state lottery six years ago. It only passed because a percentage of the proceeds fund the state’s education system. Hence Flair, a native son (or listed as one, at least), doing a commercial for the state lotto about a fictional university totally makes sense.

If I won the lottery, I’d definitely let out a “Wooooo!” I’d attend Wooooo! University as well. As a kid, nobody was cooler than The Nature Boy.
