Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Tennessee Legislator Rails Against a Dog



(Breitbart.tv) - Favorite part is the next legislator who says: "I would ask anyone bringing animals into the plaza - I don't care if it's dogs, cats, chickens or goats - please do not bring them here. Leave them at home!"

This begs the question: Why are people bringing their goats and chickens to the Tennessee state capitol building?
