The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. More Than 45 Million Americans Collected Food Stamps In 2011



(Fox Nation) - According to the Department of Agriculture, 45.8 million people collected food stamps in May and that’s up 1.8 million people from April, up 20 percent from one year ago and 34 percent from two years ago. Dana Perino is troubled thinking about what it is like when a person has to go and ask for food stamps for the first time.
