Ron Paul Ad Targets Obama, GOP Field

NEW YORK (TheStreet) - Rep. Ron Paul (R., Texas) released a political advertisement on Tuesday that targeted President Barack Obama and GOP running mates, as the congressman appeared to amp up his campaign after a strong second-place result in the Iowa straw poll.

The ad touts Paul's consistent economic voting record and straight-talk style, and begrudges "smooth talking politicians" while images of Obama, Texas Gov. Rick Perry and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney flick past the screen.
