Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Women Beware: ‘Serial Buttock-Slasher’ on the Loose in Virginia

(By Billy Hallowell, The Blaze) - Police in Fairfax County, Virginia, are on the hunt for a “serial buttock slasher.” The man, who has yet to be identified and remains on the loose, has attacked a number of young women in area shopping centers.

Authorities are appealing to citizens in their search for the perpetrator, who they believe to be Hispanic, heavyset and around the age of 20. To assist in their quest to capture the assailant, police have released a video that apparently features him entering a local store. Below, watch the clip (courtesy of WRC-TV):
