The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Charles Krauthammer: Governance Phase Of Obama Presidency Is Over



"He’s gone three-thousand miles to fundraisers. He’s focused entirely on the election." Charles Krauthammer said on FOX News. "He’s essentially announced that the governance phase of the Obama presidency is over and he’s now fully campaigning with a year and two months to go."
