Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Bush's Supreme Court Pick

Tucker Miller opines:

Since Wolfowitz and Tenet received the Medal of Freedom for their outstanding work in foreign policy...

... serving NSA to president BUsh, Condoleezza Rice, dropped the ball on 9-11, then gets promoted to secretary of State ...

I'm putting my money on Supreme Court Justice Karl Rove to be introduced tonight.
It seems appropriate.
