Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Just A Note

While this is a real blast, carrying on a three-way debate is pretty time consuming. I'll have to restrict some of my responses to the evening hours when I have time. Cingular Wireless is pretty understanding, but they have a lot of things for me to do for which they pay me. Please don't think I'm ignoring anyone if it takes a while for me to respond. And please, oh please don't assume my silence means agreement.
