Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

RE: Iraq War discussion continued:

Actually, I believe we should have invaded Iraq a decade ago. ... I posted a long article yesterday about the numerous ties between Iraq & Al Qaeda. ... Actually, Saddam and his regime had plenty of tolerance for members of Al Qaeda, Hamas, etc. because they shared a hatred of America & Israel. ... If you haven't read that article, I would suggest it.
