Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Driver says her accident deputy's fault

Every time one of these lawsuits succeeds, our rights are eroded a little more and we move closer to becoming a police state. This is why tort reform is becoming critical. The legal industry, yes it is an industry, is out of control and feeds the authoritarian beast. It must be stopped.
