Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Problem??? What problem...

Hey Tucker: The problem inside the GOP today is that they've gone too liberal... That's the reason Steve left the party. I gather from your post that you believe the problem with the GOP is that it's too conservative... I disagree with your assessment.

"and the other 10% are an extremely wealthy (& greedy) group who take advantage of the 1st 90% by paying lip service to both fiscal and social conservatives."

I find that humorous... Your socialism comes out in that quote. Why don't you say the same things about government officials??? Aren't they greedy??? Let's face it, if politicians were held to the same standards as private business, they would all be in jail... Government makes Enron look like child's play. :-)
