Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Tommy Lee Goes to College

Damn Steve, lighten up a bit!

You do realize that a lot of that stuff you hear is to maintain a "bad boy" image, which is very important in rock n' roll. This is also a t.v. show (meaning it's pretend) where he is making fun of himself. And I believe Strother prefaced his statement by saying "musical role-model". I don't believe he's aspiring to his personal lifestyle.

Of course, I don't know everything that goes on at Strother's house. Those band practices might get a little crazy!!
