Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

RE: We're all being screwed by the man!

Why should I worry about if a CEO can get a $2 million dollar salary... I would take it if somebody would offer it to me. Ha! And who says nobody is worth that kind of money... I guess somebody is since they are getting it.

And how is that salary coming out of everyone else's "potential salary, health care plan, or pension." The market dictates what each position is worth, so a CEO's salary doesn't have any bearing on me as an individual.

Don't you have a 401 (K) and an IRA??? If so, you're a stockholder...
