Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

"BP Lurkers"

I'm not really sure what you mean by a "lurker" (I'm not up on the internet lingo), but I want to make it clear to everyone that I do not post comments from people I do not know. And I only post comments from those folks I do know after editing and only with that person's permission.

Steve, your experience is exactly why I don't feel comfortable debating on the BP anymore. It is very difficult to judge the spirit in which one is posting, and we risk someone taking our opinions personally and acting unreasonably. It can be dangerous.
