Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

RE: A marxist wolf?

Where in the world is this stuff coming from? Who made these responses to me? I certainly can't find them on the Pulpit!

You mean kind of like K's remarks? Or Robert Jolly's?

The Sojourners for Truth are a non-denominational Christian organization.

The Sojourners for Truth is Christianity for people without the will to actually be Christians. They have eliminated all that messy, "Jesus Christ was the divine Son of God, born of a virgin, resurrected to save us from our sins." They just stick to preaching Marxism under the guise of Christianity.

Since when do you have to be Republican to be a Christian?

I don't recall saying that. Neither did the anonymous observer. Maybe you can point out to me where one of us did.

I find it very difficult to understand this idea of "absolute evil".

If you'd like help with that, I can point you in the direction of any number of preachers, priests, and laymen who can explain it to you. It is fundamental to being a Christian. It exists, and to deny its existence is to facilitate its ends.
