Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Wachovia Pride

I don't do any business with Wachovia and I don't plan to. I will recommend others do not as well. Wachovia seems to have decided their marketing should include pandering to radical minorities. It began with them knee-jerking to the reparations goons in Chicago and now we have them sponsoring a prevert-fest. Not that I expect it will make much of a difference. I believe Disney still has homosexual days or weeks at both of their parks. But we all must stand where and when we can.
