Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

'News, Reasoned Discourse, Opinion and Some Humor'

For the record, this type of BS (see link) is exactly why I refrain from posting anything on this board that can be interpreted as a personal attack. I am happy to discuss any and all political issues as well as our government officials within the scope of their public lives. Beyond that, count me out. I may not live in a glass house, but I have more than a few windows. Therefore I won’t be throwing any stones around here that don’t classify as political-based ‘news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor’ — Andy’s mission for the BP as stated at the top of this page.
