Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Speak of the Devil...

And he appears!

Late-breaking news. Spike Lee is going to do a mini-series or something like that for hbocinemaxshowtimewhatever on the aftermath of Katrina.

Question: What do you get when you mix a talent-free writer/director with a cable network that has too much money, no taste, and an agenda?

Answer: Forgettable agit-prop that will be oh-so-easy to miss.
