Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Spike Lee: No talent hack

You've obviously never seen 'Do The Right Thing' or even less successful films such as 'Bamboozled'.

I've unfortunately seen Do The Right Thing. I watched enough of Bamboozled to know I didn't need to waste my time. I watched about twenty minutes of She Hate Me and when I started to suspect the "hand of Lee," I looked it up at IMDB. That's twenty minutes of my life I can't get back. My comment stands. Agility with zeitgeist does not equal talent. Lee's best work was when he was a stage hand in his high school drama class. It's been downhill from there.
