Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

All Liberals Love Miss Rand

I think you know.

Translation: "I haven't a clue, Steve. Truth be known, I couldn't offer a germane quote from scripture to save my life, but beating up conservatives with a thin veneer of Christianity never fails to look good on a blog."

I'm just amused at how Christianity is manipulated to condone or demonize particular political and social stances around here, then all of a sudden, the ol' cold-hearted atheist Ayn Rand shows up to praise monetary wealth and pride. It's funny stuff.

Evidence of this manipulation? Supporting quotes? Germane references?

I didn't think so.
