The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Greens Praise Fox News 'Global Warming' Documentary

The Fox News Channel's admittedly one-sided special on "global warming" is receiving praise from two prominent liberal environmentalists.

The hour-long special report, titled "The Heat Is On: The Case of Global Warming," is set to air Sunday night at 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. EST, and it will feature a disclaimer warning viewers that only one side of the scientific debate is represented on the show.
