Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

RE: Greens Praise Fox News 'Global Warming' Documentary

According to the Nov. 9 Fox News poll, 77 percent of "Americans believe global warming is happening," and 46 percent of respondents believe "it is caused by human behavior."

Of course, everyone knows that whenever the majority believes something, that makes it true.

That 77 percent demographic has more to do with selling air-time than it does with any veracity of claims of human-induced climate changes.
