Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

RE: The killing machine that is Marxism

Tucker Miller opines:

Poor Steve....still caught up in his cute, little binary computer world -- void of nuance and the ability to distinguish any shade of grey.

Didn't you get the paranoid memo Steve? We're supposed to be scared of terrorists in the "Post-911 World". Communist/Marxist paranoia went out with the cold war!

I'd recommend putting your faith in God instead of the ability of the free market to keep you safe from those awful, God-less commies!

& don't forget that all those blue-blooded conservatives stocking their carts at Wal-mart are undoubtedly purchasing something from the Communist country of China. Does that make them Marxist sympathizers?

Do you disagree with the article or do you just disagree with it because Steve posted it??? You make it sound like Steve was the one who wrote the article.
