Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

RE: NEWSFLASH: NSA DOING ITS JOB!

It looks like Michelle Malkin has dropped back into her mode of defending whatever the shrub and the GOP choose to do. If this had happened during Bill Clinton's Administration (which is actually when it started), she would have been calling for armed insurrection.

It is inconceivable to me that anyone, especially someone claiming to be a conservative, would condone an agency of our government spying on us. Brezhnev used to say that some day the US would be indistinguishable from the Soviet Union. Every day he comes closer to being right. It shouldn't be long after the Beast in Pants Suits assumes the throne that the transformation will be complete.

And I was just starting to gain a little respect back for Malkin.
