Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

FLASH: COULTER, CARLIN ON LENO

Can't wait to see this in a few minutes... I'm afraid that I'll be disappointed, though.

Controversialist Ann Coulter and controversialist George Carlin NBC's will appear on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno this Wednesday. Carlin will discuss his role in "Cars," from Walt Disney Pictures and Pixar Animation Studios. The movie is currently the #1 at the box office. Coulter will talk about her latest controversial book "Godless: The Church of Liberalism," currently the #1 book at AMAZON.
