Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

RE: Documenting Saddam's Link to Terror

Documents seized, recently made public by U.S. government provide insights into pre-war Iraq...

Why wouldn't the White House attempt to explain these 'links' if it would help their story behind the war, rather than simply releasing it and letting everyone try to decipher largely Arabic documents?

Sounds to me like there's no real insight to be had here... Leave it to Fox News to make it appear as if there was.
