Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

RE: FLASH: COULTER, CARLIN ON LENO

I watched it, and it was pretty boring. And I tried to give her a chance. But she’s just so darn conceited, so sour, so… unlikable. At least that's the role she plays while she's 'on.' Carlin and Leno were very polite. All in all, it wasn’t the fun that Tonight Show producers hoped for, I’m sure.

She did say that she has 'one' liberal friend — but only one — that read 'Godless' before it was published. I wonder if much of her 'insight' on the liberal mind comes from this one source?
