Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Grandma's Afternoon Burrito...

Steve asks: "You're kidding, right?"

No, I wasn't kidding... I thought you said some nice things about Brad Newsome once.

"When I say dangerous, though, I mean dangerous in the way it would be for Grandma to eat a huge burrito right before heading over to her afternoon bridge game."

That sounds pretty dangerous if you ask me... :-)
