RE: Rush admits to being a Kool-Aid drinker...

There's a lot more to it than Rush just admitting he drank the Kool-aid. This is pretty much an admission that he is a lying media whore.

Limbaugh has/had huge credentials with the GOP. He is admitting complicity in the GOP's election disaster. Had he stayed true to the principles he supposedly espouses and belabored the pubbies for their sins, the outcome of Tuesday's festivities would have been significantly different. Instead, he chose to take the safe route and play the role of Kool-aid dispenser. He marched the party line and mouthed the party propaganda. The worst part of it is that he "carried the water" for the neocons, a group he once characterized as "Democrat Lite."

I haven't listened to him regularly for several years, but his transition from the vocal conscience of the American Right to the GOP's propaganda minister was painful to watch, even from a distance. Sadly, he is damaged goods. No one who isn't simply a lemming could possibly take anything he says seriously from now on. Of course, the fact that he couldn't even carry the GOP water to the polls on Tuesday is proof that Joe Sixpack already knows that.
