Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Barney's Holiday Extravaganza

Barney is one cute dog. I love it.

At the very least, stay tuned for Bush's cameo (he's first), but the Spellings/Rove bit is pretty good too... and Paulson's part isn't bad, either. Heck, the whole thing is priceless! It even features Dolly Parton! You can't get better than that!

This is great on so many levels. I've never felt closer to the Bush administration — mission accomplished, Barney!
