Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

RE: Americans Who Would Not Vote For A...

"What In The Hell Is Wrong With American Voters Who Think This Crap Matters?" would be a better name for this poll.

Such are the joys of universal suffrage, Strother. It would be interesting to note what percentage of those polled were women. While men are not completely innocent, it has been shown repeatedly that women are more susceptible to voting on petty and unrelated concerns. This is but a glimmer of the self-destructive nature of democracy.
