Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

The White House Online Museum

This is a pretty neat site. You can click on each room and look at pictures and read the history of each room. I liked reading and seeing what the rooms looked like in the private residence. I always wondered what it looked like and how it was laid out.
