Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

President Bush to Rent $300,000 a Year Dallas Office Space

(Bloomberg) - [Former] President George W. Bush will rent offices in Dallas at the Sherry Lane Place building at an initial cost to taxpayers of $311,600 a year, close to what former President Bill Clinton paid when he settled on New York’s Harlem neighborhood in 2001.
