Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Lindsey Graham thinks the government is his business

(TammyBruce.com) - Glenn Beck, talk radio and the loudmouthed people are such a pain in the neck to Sen. Graham. Probably the Constitution as well. He thinks the government is his business. He dismisses base politics as though it’s childish, lecturing that we have to get out of our comfort zones. He is more than willing to work with the President to make his job easier.
