Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. I-74/U.S. 311 Loop to Open Monday

New roadway scheduled to open Nov. 22



HIGH POINT, NC (WGHP) — A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new I-74/U.S. 311 loop is scheduled for Monday.

The new 6.4-mile section of the High Point East Belt stretches from Interstate 85 Business in Guilford County to Spencer Road in Randolph County.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for 11 a.m.
