Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Union Ad Accuses GOP of ‘Everything Except Wanting to Eat Children’

(By Jonathon M. Seidl, The Blaze) - Less than 24 hours away from election day, some groups are pulling out all the stops. Including one group that has produced a new attack ad Mytheos Halt at National Review is calling, “[the] most desperate, ugly attack ad of the season,“ which accuses Republicans ”of everything except wanting to eat children.”

That’s really not an hyperbole.
