Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

What Will Alan Grayson’s Next Job Be?

(By Meredith Jessup, The Blaze) - Fox News‘ Bill O’Reilly seems to think there may be a place for the outspoken progressive on the staff of the Huffington Post:



“Pinhead Alan Grayson, that congressman in Orlando, you know that guy, he’s going to lose,” O’Reilly predicted about 30 minutes before the race was officially called. “I expect Arianna Huffington to hire this clown.”

If not Huffington, perhaps MSNBC has a spot for him?
