Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

CNN's Eliot Spitzer Claims Obama Supports School Choice While Kathleen Parker Sits Quietly Watching



(Eyeblast.tv) - On the 21 December 2010 edition of CNN's Parker-Spitzer, host Eliot Spitzer misleadingly claimed that President Obama supports school choice, when he actually took steps against it in DC.

(Breitbart.tv) - For the record, President Obama says he supports choice for parents "within the public school system" which, of course, is no choice at all.
