Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

NJ Gov Chris Christie (R) Responds to ‘Peanut Gallery’ Over Snow Response Criticism



(Breitbart.tv) - Gov. Chris Christie responds to critics (including Rudy Giuliani) who criticized him for being on vacation during last month's blizzard. Time Magazine Editor Mark Halperin tells the Governor that he had been critical of him, but after hearing his explanation he has changed his mind.
