Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. NY Jets QB Mark Sanchez Uses Teammate Mark Brunell To Wipe Runny Nose

(By Glenn Davis, Mediaite) - It’s cold in Pittsburgh. That, combined with a lot of standing around as the Steelers went on a methodical touchdown drive to open the AFC Championship Game, meant Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez’s nose started running. But absent a tissue, what to do? Enter teammate Mark Brunell.

Brunell’s jacket served as a convenient booger repository for Sanchez, who wiped his nose, then returned the favor on Brunell. The cameras caught it, Brunell’s objections were in vain, and the rest is history. Video, along with off-camera laughing, below.
