Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Rush Limbaugh Laughs At Critics: My Chinese Translation “Was A Service”

(By Matt Schneider, Mediaite) - During yesterday’s joint press conference with President Obama and Chinese President Hu Jintao, Rush Limbaugh was bored and frustrated that a translation was not being provided, so instead he did an impression of the foreign leader reciting a few “ching ching chongs” in random succession. As Rush likely predicted, his performance set off an outrage and today he addressed his critics directly.
