Jon Gosselin on the job. (TMZ)

(Fox News) -
Hold on to your hard hats -- Jon Gosselin has a REAL JOB!

TMZ reports that the divorced dad from TLC’s "Jon and Kate Plus 8" is working for Pennsylvania-based Green Pointe Energy, installing solar panels on the roof of a storage building.

It’s a long way from the glitz of Hollywood red carpets.

Since his divorce from Kate Gosselin, Jon has desperately tried to hang on to his reality fame. He appeared on an episode of TLC’s "American Choppers," and was briefly hired to do on-air assignments for "Entertainment Tonight."
