Lowes Foods to become Just$ave

PILOT MOUNTAIN (By Dean Palmer, The Pilot) — After a lengthy run, the Pilot Mountain Lowes Foods on Key Street will close for the last time on Sunday at 8 p.m. But the closure will be temporary as, on Feb. 25, Lowes Foods will open a new store brand at the site.

Under the name of Just$ave, the new venture will feature a different look along with new pricing and an increased emphasis on community involvement.

According to Debbie Williams, Lowes Foods executive assistant to the president, the store is a pilot program that has been developed using extensive customer research in the Pilot Mountain area.
