The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. 'The Daily Show' Reveals Dennis Kucinich’s Secret Talent Of…Ventriloquy!
