Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Allen West on Obama: 'I Can't Stand the Guy'

(Weasel Zippers) - I grabbed this off a FaceBook friend’s status. West is talking about Obama’s recent pandering remarks during his visit to Texas, regarding the illegal immigration problem that he doesn’t believe is illegal or a problem, unless we oppose it.
